“Tell Sheffield that Medved is hunting him…the Bear is coming.”
Nearly a month after Lucy Sullivan saved the Donovan Circus from certain death, she discovers that Dr. Felix Hardy wasn’t the only bad guy around. When Lucy is attacked on home ground, Sheffield Donovan reveals that there are bigger foes in their world, gifted that use their powers to kill others – including her own family, as she learns from her ringmaster mentor. Medved, a Russian thug and powerful Shapeshifter, is intent on outing the gifted world and will stop at nothing to succeed.
In order to survive, Lucy and her friends must travel to another show, the Grayson Circus, for help. The uneasy alliance with owner Albert Grayson comes with potential new friends and dark secrets about their competition, including a troublemaker named Mel and an old flame of Lucy’s father. Lucy must also contend with her feelings about Keegan and Gabriel, as well as learn how to contain her rampant emotions or risk setting the entire place ablaze.
Will Lucy be able to save the Donovan Circus again? Or will Medved and his men slaughter everyone in their path on the way to gifted domination?
Today I´m going to talk you about the second part of Gifted ;)
I totally loved the first book, so I was a little afraid of this book, because I didn´t know what to expect, but, even if the first part was a little bit boring, I´ve liked the book, a lot.
After what happened in Gifted, Lucy is having problems controlling her emotions. Apart from that, she has to deal with deciding between Keegan and Gabriel. And, as always, when you think that you can control everything, a Russian assessin who can become a bear decides he wants to kill you XD
Medved is an Russian assassin who believes that gifteds are better than humans. He wants the humans to know that there are gifted people in the world, and he wants to control everybody and everything. And he want stop until he gets what he wants. I´ve liked Medved as a villain. He kills without thinking it twice, and he´s more cruel than the doctor of the first book. I think that he´s been a bigger threat for Lucy and company.
I like who the book is written. The first part were a little boring, but, when things started to happen, I found myself lost in the pages.
This time, Lucy and her friends have to visit the Grayson Circurs, trying to convince them to help the Donovan Circus. There, they´ll meet new friends and new enemies. I´ve liked the new characters and I hope to see them and know more about them in the next book (specially about Sophie, I hope we get to know her more in the future).
The group we know keeps being totally adorable XD
I want to be part of a group like that!!!!
And, finally, Lucy chooses a boy! I don´t want to tell you anything about her choice, because I don´t want to write a spoiler, but I have to say that I´m not totally happy about her choice. I would like to see her rethinking her choice, but I think that it´ll be repetitive... So I have to accept her choice, even if I think that my boy is better jajajajjaja
5/5

Even if I thought that this was going to be the last book, the ending has proved that there is going to be another book. And I would be pleased to read it ;)
Give Lucy and her friends a chance!
